How To Words Your Wedding Invitations With Variant Wording?

Wedding invitations are very important to inform family, companion, and friends about the wedding. Wedding invitations should be made with interesting and unique thus giving the impression to the recipient. For that you should pay attention to the beauty of your invitation card. But there is something more important that the look, namely the words on wedding invitation.

Sometimes people are confused how to write everything in the wedding invitations. From the past until now, there are still some things that will be retained to be written on the invitation. But the manner of writing and the diction may change. Even so, some important etiquette of writing wedding invitations you should not miss. Among them are:

Writing of the name; you must write the full name of all the people on the invitation. That is the name of the bride and groom, their parent’s names also as hosts. If you invite a family, make sure the oldest son got the invitation in his own name. The names of the other children could be written after their parents names. Example:

Mr. and Mrs. Smith
David, Albert, Maggie, and Anne
Writing as above is more polite than you write "... and family" on your invitation.


Request line; it is important to request the presence of the guests at your wedding. For formal occasions, usually using the words, "request the honor of your presence". But for semi-formal event, a lot of options other words, such as: "invite you to share Their Joy", and many more. Especially if the wedding was held outside the place of worship, then the words commonly used request is, "the pleasure of your company".


The last thing you should pay attention is the wedding details. Such as the time of wedding, date, and location of the wedding. Make sure you write these details with complete and clear so as not to confuse the guests. Street name, city or district should have written completely, do not use any abbreviations.
